EXTENDED PLAY- EP

KILLER DILLER HAS RELEASED OUR FIRST EP ENTITLED "EXTENDED PLAY" o

Why "Extended Play?" Well, the band is literally 30 years in the making. As Scott the Drummer was winding down BOP (harvey), and always wanted to start a Skatalites style band. Marriage, kids, jobs and a million other things happened and in the blink of an eye it is 2019.  It was time to get going and the band startied right before COVID. A great “Mach I” version of the band was formed, gigs booked, and then...well you know... The band retooled and released some homegrown videos of classic ska covers, eventually started doing gigs, writing their own brand of big band ska, had some lineup changes (not surprising for a 14 piece band) and eventually arrived here, right now, as you are reading this. It has been a very EXTENDED PLAY to get to this point.

As you may or may not know we play Supersonic SkaSteady. From Detroit. Loud and proud in a big band, traditional ska style (for the most part). The EP has 4 rippin’ ska tracks: Terry Hall - inspired by the Specials legendary front man; Try to Stop Me – a shout out to strong women everywhere; Brass Knuckles - an instrumental ska workout and Dance Craze - about the classic 1981 2-Tone movie that inspired musicians worldwide looking for something new to call their own.

NOW AVAILABLE on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.
